WEEK 2 ORC: DETAILED PLANNING

Assalamualaikum & good day,
It's Week 2 of One Room Challenge. Here is a summary of my tasks:

1. DRESSER/ DRAWER
To buy a dresser for Adik's clothes.

2. WALL FINISHING
Hang wallpaper at selected area (to cover cracks on the wall).

3. READING/PLAYING AREA
Find a chair and table for Adik. Make it comfortable by putting cushions on it. Buy a carpet.

4. LIGHTINGS
I planned to buy and install the ceiling fan today. However, the electrician is only available tomorrow. He did give a few tips on selecting the brand. I told him about buying fan with lamp integrated with it. He suggested to buy a Panasonic, KDK or a Rubine ceiling fan because they last longer. Good tips!

Then, I did my online window shopping at Lazada. Rubine ceiling fan looks more appealing. It comes with White and Black Chrome. Both look equally nice. What surprised me is the price. It's RM399, only RM1 less than my budget :( I hope I could find something similar but cheaper in the store.

5. DECORATION
I have limited space in the room. So I really want to optimize the areas that I have. I haven't done anything, just running through arrangement ideas and toy storage solution in my mind. Might put up the following

a) Toy Car Display

b) Fabric Wall Art
DIY Nursery Wall Art

c) DIY wall shelves

To pen off, here are a few other projects that I'm following because of the similar nature we shared ;)

  1. I was online fan shopping, just yesterday. I love a good fan. Wish I knew about that car holder when my son was younger. He was addicted to every one of his cars. So cute.
