EXCEL TEMPLATE LINK

Assalamualaikum & good day,

I wanted to start keeping tract of my expenditure. Hard copy vs soft copy? But first I need a template. I don't want to start from zero. After a quick search, I found Vertex42 :) Besides the budget planner template, it also provides templates planner, calendar and gantt chart. Looking forward to use them later.


As for my budget planner, I just downloaded the file and made changes according to my categories.

SET DATELINE IN LIFE CALENDAR

This talk kinda summarizes what I felt when I have tasks to do :D But setting dateline in life calendar is new to me. I don't have a life calendar (yet), but here is 2017 wall calendar from Productive Muslim.

To do:

• Set life milestones datelines 
• Manage 'monkey side' more effectively and listen attentively to 'rational side' :)

HOW TO CREATE A WEEKLY SCHEDULE

1) List all the tasks in action items
2) Get hourly-calendar & block prior commitments
3) Map tasks on the calendar. Left-over tasks put in
- deferred or
- delegated or
- deleted lists

Once done, I printed out the calendar. There is a number of printing styles. I chose Weekly Agenda Style. I can tick the lists and write notes on it.

IMPORTANCE OF KEYWORDS IN RESEARCH ARTICLE

• title
• abstract
• list of keywords (obviously :D)
• subheadings

To elaborate more about a good title in a Research article,

• It has keywords – start with more important ones first
• It tells the main results of the paper
• It is written in the form of a statement
• It contains an active verb

D4: WORD FORMATTING MANUALS

Writing is a challenging task (for me). The second hardest is formatting. I found a site with manuals on how to do the formatting for thesis using Words. I've only tried to follow the instructions on how to number the equations, using tab. It works! Before this, I inserted an invisible single line of a row with 3 columns to align my equation. Tricky. Haven't decided which is better and easier. 

The site also has instructions on how to number Figure, Table, etc. However, it's for an old version of Words (published in 2012). But, you can figure it out :) Ultimately, people said Latex is better. Will learn it soon, insyaa Allah.

Quick ways, but not recommended :)
[1] - Easy. Just by changing the words to synonyms
[2] - Easy. Use http://articlerewritertool.com/ to do it. But, we need to make amendments.
[3] - Easy. Use google translator

Except for
[4] - Moderate. Change word forms and order, etc.

Introduce the author and state the main points. Add background

2. Summary
Write the main points & the supporting points

3. Evaluate
Key points, accuracy, assumption, gap

4. Response
Agreed? Merit? Must support with literature

5. Conclusion
Remind the reader of the topic. Combine the responses. State your work
